David A. Doddridge
 
Since 1983, David Doddridge has been involved full time in the residential and light commercial construction and building inspection industry. He also has extensive experience in prefabricated buildings and ran separate roofing and drywall companies as subsidiaries of Doddridge Construction, Inc. David has also worked as a construction consultant for the Lower Cape Cod Community Development Corp. and as a consultant/expert witness for Donald A. Doddridge & Associates.

 

 

Licensing and Professional Qualifications

  • International Code Council (formerly known as BOCA, ICBO, SBCCI), certified B1 Residential Building Inspector & B2 Commercial Building Inspector.
    Note: The ICC is the code organization responsible for authoring new building codes in New York City & Massachusetts
  • Commercial & One/Two Family Construction Supervisor's License in State of Massachusetts
  • CDW Engineering, completion of Commercial Building Inspection course with primary concentration on Commercial Property Condition Assessments under ASTM guidelines
  • American Institute of Architects (Allied Member) continuing education credits received for seminar attendance related to commercial building codes, ADA compliance, building materials, construction techniques etc.

Construction Experience

Doddridge Construction, Inc.

  • Fully accountable for all construction phases
  • Client counseling, estimating, and contract negotiation to certificate of occupancy
  • Supervision of employees and subcontractors and responsibility for code conformance.
  • Administrative duties, including oversight of office administrative work, estimating, contract preparation, job cost tracking, insurance documentation, receivables/payables, cash flow control, bank payments/inspections, etc.

  • Design, development, and implementation of system to prefabricate, precut, and panelize single-family homes in a factory environment

  • Custom home building involving mid-to-high-end residential construction projects, including architecturally designed and specified homes, multi-family condominiums, light commercial buildings, historic restorations, subdivisions, insurance repairs, additions, remodeling, etc.

Donald A. Doddridge

Since 1975, Donald Doddridge has been heavily involved in the home and building inspection and construction industries, and he has provided expert witness testimony and litigation support to the legal community for residential and commercial construction disputes, pedestrian and worker injuries, building code violations, and home  inspection disputes.
